ABOUT ME
MY STORYI haven’t always known I wanted to be an artist. My path to finding myself and what I wanted to do professionally has had twists and turns, but I can confidently say I’ve found my calling.
Even though art hasn’t always been the profession I had in mind, it has always been an interest of mine. Before I even had the Adobe Creative Suite, I used free online softwares to manipulate photos and create designs. I am now proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Lightroom and am always looking to expand my knowledge on other programs. Other skills include Microsoft Suite, Final Cut Pro, GarageBand, and I even self-taught myself how to 3D model an enamel pin in Blender despite no prior knowledge or experience.
Throughout middle- and high-school, I was a theatre kid. Then in college I started as a music major. Now I have landed on art, but all of these prior passions are influential to my work, especially music. As an active participant in the Milwaukee music scene, I have partnered with several bands, including Vinyl Theatre, to create a logo design and collaborate on concept art for a single album cover. I’ve also partnered with the local band Gold Steps to photograph and edit promotional concert pictures.
