FREELANCE MUSIC DESIGN
Branding is everything for musicians. Your image is what will stick with listeners most outside of the music itself.
VINYL THEATRE
I was in contact with Nick Cesarz of Vinyl Theatre in March of 2022. He told me about their return after a 3-year long hiatus and the desire to do some sort of ARG (alternate-reality game) to promote their upcoming single “Love You To Death”. While the ARG didn’t happen in the end, I worked with Nick to create a redesign of their current logo to help promote the new song. With the mysterious nature of ARGs, I took inspiration from antique skeleton keys. The logo was used on social media and in merchandise designs.

It doesn’t stop there. While the logo was the biggest thing I created for Vinyl Theatre, Nick and I are always in contact and constantly bouncing ideas off of each other with new songs. I haven’t made any of the single artwork, but I’ve created mock-ups that have inspired final artwork. It was such a great experience and I’m excited to work with them again in the future. Below is some additional miscellaneous work that ended up not being used, but I am proud of regardless and would like to share.

OH GEEEZ, NOT AGAIN
Oh Geeez, Not Again is an indie pop band from the midwest whose newest album “Mapmaker” was released on September 13th, 2024. I met vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sean McGibany about 2 and a half weeks prior to that release and upon learning of my chosen career path, I was immediately contracted to help with promotional visuals for the album. I created designs for 9 of the songs on the album that were used in Spotify canvases and lyric videos posted to their Youtube channel. It was a fun project with a very quick turnaround time and I’m proud of the results.

DAY TVVO
Kevin Mcgroarty, the mind and talent behind Day Tvvo, is a good friend of mine from high school. It has been really inspiring to support him from the very beginning and watch him grow, hone his talent, and release new music. When he reached out to me for help to create a design that could be used for merch and other materials, I jumped at the chance to help out my friend. He had a strong idea of what he wanted it to look like and I recreated that vision in different color variations. I’m excited to work with him again.
