TYPOGRAPHY

Typography is fundamental to design. Even if a design is wordless, the principles present in typographical design overlap immensely. Spacing, balance, and form are present everywhere. Learning good typography has made me a better designer and has also taught me to view the world with a more keen eye. I notice things now that I never did before in company wordmarks, printed media like books or magazines, or anything in which text is present. These are my explorations into typography. There is a lot of work I have that includes text in some way or another, but these pieces are ones in which text is the focal point of the work.
